SALIMAH VALIANI is a researcher and writer on Political Economy & World
Economic Development. Most recently Salimah was the Canadian Labor Congress National Representative at the Social and Economic Policy Department.

AMINA SHIRAZEE is a Toronto-based Immigration Lawyer and Migrant Justice
Advocate. Amina is the recipient of a Legal Aid Ontario GEM award in 2003, the Canadian Black Lawyers Association Award of Excellence and the Canadian Arab Federation award for advancement of Citizenship and Civil Liberties.

HIMANI BANNERJI is best known for her studies of Canadian literature and
identity and her work on gender, race and multiculturalism. She is the author of ‘The Dark Side of the Nation: Essays on Multiculturalism, Nationalism and Gender’ among others.

DAVID MCNALLY is Professor of political science at York University in
Toronto, Ontario and chair of the university's political science
department. He is the author of ‘Another World is Possible: Globalization
and Anti-Capitalism’ among others.
